A grant of just over £3000 has been awarded to Oldway to help fund a Garden Management Plan. This will guide the large and very able group of volunteers who assist the Council in maintaining it. The heritage consultant was Sarah Rutherford. The grant was funded from a legacy generously given to the Devon Gardens Trust.
Oldway in Paignton has a garden designed by Achille Duchenne who also designed part of the garden at Blenheim Palace. The park and garden is Grade II listed.
