A special evening event featuring renowned garden author Tim Richardson in conversation with Alasdair Forbes, creator of Plaz Metaxu—hailed as one of the most significant gardens created in Britain in the 20th century. Together, they’ll explore the ideas, inspirations, and philosophies behind this extraordinary landscape as well as touching on the long tradition of the English Landscape garden, of which Castle Hill is a fine example. A fitting complement to the DGT visit to Plaz Metaxu on 14 April and the visit to Castle Hill on 5th May. Devon Gardens Trust members are able to join members of the Gardens Trust (National entity) for this special evening which includes a three-course dinner.
