Historic Torquay Fountain is reinstated

Last year the late Victorian fountain in Princess Gardens, Torquay was removed for renovation after it started to sink and tilt.  The foundations for the three-tier fountain have been strengthened and the cast iron structure has been refurbished and repainted. It has now been reinstalled into the pleasure grounds. The fountain is listed grade II by Historic England and was manufactured to a pattern produced by the Saracen Foundry in Glasgow.
