We last visited Keith Wiley's Wildside in 2016 during the early days of the creation of the northern part of the gardens, known as the Canyons, which Keith sculpted with a digger out of a three-acre field. Now, trees have grown and the area has been planted. The garden is a tribute to Keith's artist wife, Ros, who died in 2019, and takes its inspiration from the swathes of vivid South African flowers reflected in a clear stream. Keith is a renowned and passionate plantsman championing "new naturalism" and respecting plants' natural growing conditions. He is an inspirational speaker and will give us a memorable. tour.
This visit could be combined with a visit to The Garden House where Keith was head gardener for many years creating the Acer Glade and the South African garden out of a paddock.
