ORGANISATION There are currently about 350 members of the Trust. Details of the membership categories and subscription rates can be seen below. The Trust has a President and a number of Vice Presidents. The Council of Management consists of the Trustees (up to 20) and is responsible for the operation of the Trust. One third of the members retire at each AGM and the Chairman is elected annually by the Council. Initial contact with the Trust may be through the Secretary, Treasurer, Chairman or Conservation Officer. All of these take part with other members in quarterly committees, which then report to the Council. The current committees are Conservation, Education and Events, Tree Register, Finance and General Purposes.
